Version of Saga of the Swamp Thing #25, DC Comics, 6/1984, featuring the FIRST CAMEO APPEARANCE OF JOHN CONSTANTINE. In what has got to be among the very top coolest "it's complicated" first appearance stories in comics: artists Bissette & Totleben wanted to draw a character physically based upon Sting (the singer) and drew him for the first time in this issue (#25) as an unspeaking background character in a single panel, then said to writer Alan Moore, quote, " You better do something with him, because we're not going to stop drawing him "! Moore then developed him into John Constantine who by issue #37 made his "full" named/speaking debut! A very cool book to own in your collection and one that is frustratingly tough to find in NM range as the 95 cent newsstand CPV.
